Oakley GasCan Iridium Polarized Sunglasses

My Gascans arrived a couple of days ago. They looked even better in person than the pictures on amazon. I was very pleased when took them out the box. They came earlier than the vendor stated, would definately buy from this seller again. Perfect fit, very comfortable, and good coverage of sun blocking. I love the tint on the lense,they really brighten everything,and are great for cutting down on glare and contrast. The bronze is not to dark either. These are large and have somewhat bling styling, maynot be for everyone. One of the reviews I read earlier said that they didnt fit,but he stated that he was an average size guy. Well Oakley states that they are made for large melons. They make a Gascan small,that are styled a little diferently,and fit a little tighter. I would suggest to anyone to go to the mall and try on a pair before ordering. Sunglasses are like shoes,they all fit differently.

If I sat on these, I would probably buy another pair. Not before a solid session of weeping though. These are somewhat expensive, but I take care of my sunglasses. My last pair of Nike Skylons lasted me about 7-8 years. These are better. They hug your head, and the rubber earpieces aren't denaturing like the Nike pair did. The lenses are replaceable, like the Nike ones, except they still make replacement lenses for these. The nose pads are also replaceable. This means that I would have to sit on these to buy another pair. Otherwise, all the parts can be replaced easily. Black/Black looks good, and the tint is nice. It took a little getting used to with the polarized lenses, since I'm not really accustomed to them, but these are good for every application of sunglasses. I recommend these to anyone that likes the style. Also, these fit a little bigger than the half jackets, which were too small for my head.

I needed something larger than my small Baggallini for traveling to Europe, large enough to carry a small travel book but not too large. My other requirement was that it have a long enough, adjustable strap to be worn across my body. Reading reviews helped me determine which Pacsafe was the right size. This one worked well and the security features are a plus. Another plus is the light colored lining. I think it has just the right number of compartments, not so many that it is confusing, but enough to separate some items. Some other reviewers complained about the small size of the exterior pockets so I did not count on using them, but they worked for ticket stubs and even my phone. Like others I would be delighted with the addition of a net water bottle holder, but I realized that once you start adding such features the bag grows in size and weight. I managed without it.

Plastic Reading Includes Sunglass Readers

Seeing as I always seem to misplace my reading glasses, I tend to buy very inexpensive ones. The look on these cheap readers is never very good either. When looking for a better solution one day, I came across these and decided to give them a shot. I was very impressed with not only the great quality, but the fact that each comes in its own individual cloth carrying case which can be used for cleaning as well. These glasses in the store would easily go for 15 to $25 a pair. I did not realize however, that the only use for the sunglasses would be up close gardening and such. Since they are not bifocal reading sunglasses, they can not be used for driving. All in all, well worth every penny and because they are more study, I haven't lost any in the last few months. Highly recommended in my book.

Oakley Antix 03 705 Shield Sunglasses

I cycle about 23-27 hours a week and wear glasses as not only protection against the sun, but protection from objects such as bugs, etc. I have utilized Oakley Radar sunglasses for a considerable amount of time, but they fail me in one of my needed missions. I'm an avid time trial competitor and when I compete on my time trial bike, I utilize a Kask helmet with a pull-down visor, hence I do not need sunglasses when I am racing. When I am training on my time trial bike, however, I always find myself looking at the top rim of the Oakleys when in the aggressive TT position on my aerobars. The Smith Pivlock glasses are perfect for that mission. I now have an unobstructed, very comfortable view of the road when riding in that aggressive, flat back position.

The lens can be changed in seconds between the 3 sets of supplied lenses, and the glasses and spare lenses/extra nose piece come in a nice, solid, large, very protective, zippered case. If I have one criticism about the glasses, it would be that in the hot, humid weather of the Florida summer, I seem to sweat under these glasses - something that I do not do with my Oakleys. Perhaps it is just a function of my face geometry.

The glasses are incredibly light (1 oz on my postal scale) hence very comfortable to wear. These are probably the best sport glasses out there, and at about half the price of the Oakleys, you cannot go wrong. Also, after searching the web, I found the best price to be right here on Amazon.
