We were looking for a replacement lighting option in our kitchen to replace the ceiling fan/light that was the central light fixture in our main kitchen area. After reading many reviews we decided that this light was worth a look so we ordered it. We were a bit worried about the plastic globe enclosure and the brightness of the flourescent lights. When the light arrived we were pleasantly surprised at the excellent construction. Once the light was installed all of our questions were quickly erased as the brightness levels of this light were excellent. In our 12' X 16' main kitchen area the lighting levels are more than sufficient. So much in fact that in our opinion after reaching full brightness sunglasses are almost necessary. After 3 weeks my wife just gushes each and every time she turns on the switch. We compared this light to several other manufacturers similar options at local lighting stores. We would highly recommend this light for anyone wanting a modern / well constructed / bright light option for their kitchen area.

I received the sunglasses within my mailbox within only a few short days of ordering. They were shipped in a box. I LOVE that they are silver- I think it is not as easy to find sunglasses in silver as gold. I did not give this review a perfect score only because there were scratches on the ear pieces. I am not going to return them = I really do not think it is all that bad. And I am sure they will end up with scratches, I just did not want them to start out with scratches.

I read all the reviews about the not-so-great experiences people had with being sent fake pairs and the disappointment of dealing with that. But I decide to roll the dice anyway. (I did make sure that the order was fullfilled by Amazon to assure that if I had any issues, I could return them)
I jumped over to Youtube and watched all the videos on how to tell the difference between real and fake Ray-Bans and felt confident that when they came I would be able to tell the difference.
After impatiently waiting 5 days for the delivery - they finally came. I opened the package and took notice of the Ray-Ban box itself. The spec label was right there on the side of the box - seems right so far. I opened the box and inspected the case - sturdy, heavyweight construction, Ray-Ban logo on the button, quality Ray-Ban gold stamp on the case. Next, I opened the case and the first thing I noticed was the plastic sleeve on one of the sunglass arms. I flipped open the glasses and saw the metal hinge that connects the arms to the frames. I also found the metal bar that runs through the arms. I checked out the Ray-Ban logos on each arm and saw(felt)that they were nearly flush with the arms. I inspected the logo and etching on the lenses and was satified. They felt heavy and I heard no rattle from the lenses or squeak from the arms opening and closing.
So in all, I definitely recieved a legit pair of New Wayfarers. I very happy with them, and at a $50.00 discount it can't be beat.

Dream Essentials Escape Luxury Earplugs

I've tried this sleep mask for a few weeks now, and it really is an immense upgrade from my old one. This mask does not push against my eyes, and it feels all over comfy and professionally made. To be honest, I love it and am glad my search here on Amazon finally led me to this helpful product.

The only design question I came up with, though it hasn't materialized the way I feared when first trying on the mask, is that the strap band might benefit from being a bit wider and also not as saw-like along the edge. I mean, we don't want to lose our ears wearing a sleep mask. Ok, that might be putting it too harsh, because I haven't experienced what I feared might be a sawing effect when wearing the mask, making the whole experience using it a surprisingly positive one.

This might be a big mask, and so I choose to imagine sleeping on the side might cause a problem if you have a small head, but for me, this mask has worked amazingly well. Even though the mask is a bit stiff. A few times I see light when laying on the side, a result coming from the stiffness causing the mask to move out of position when in contact with the pillow, but that seems to happen more seldom as time goes by. It's as if the mask is being broken in. Plus, I haven't tightened the band after the initial adjustment I made. I imagine tightening it will make the mask even less prone to light bleed. It does have an inner fluffy "barrier", laying between the nose and eyes, helping against light seeping in. No wonder it does such a good job keeping it out in general. The mask itself just feels so professional.

All in all, I am very satisfied with this product.

My Gascans arrived a couple of days ago. They looked even better in person than the pictures on amazon. I was very pleased when took them out the box. They came earlier than the vendor stated, would definately buy from this seller again. Perfect fit, very comfortable, and good coverage of sun blocking. I love the tint on the lense,they really brighten everything,and are great for cutting down on glare and contrast. The bronze is not to dark either. These are large and have somewhat bling styling, maynot be for everyone. One of the reviews I read earlier said that they didnt fit,but he stated that he was an average size guy. Well Oakley states that they are made for large melons. They make a Gascan small,that are styled a little diferently,and fit a little tighter. I would suggest to anyone to go to the mall and try on a pair before ordering. Sunglasses are like shoes,they all fit differently.

I needed something larger than my small Baggallini for traveling to Europe, large enough to carry a small travel book but not too large. My other requirement was that it have a long enough, adjustable strap to be worn across my body. Reading reviews helped me determine which Pacsafe was the right size. This one worked well and the security features are a plus. Another plus is the light colored lining. I think it has just the right number of compartments, not so many that it is confusing, but enough to separate some items. Some other reviewers complained about the small size of the exterior pockets so I did not count on using them, but they worked for ticket stubs and even my phone. Like others I would be delighted with the addition of a net water bottle holder, but I realized that once you start adding such features the bag grows in size and weight. I managed without it.

Seeing as I always seem to misplace my reading glasses, I tend to buy very inexpensive ones. The look on these cheap readers is never very good either. When looking for a better solution one day, I came across these and decided to give them a shot. I was very impressed with not only the great quality, but the fact that each comes in its own individual cloth carrying case which can be used for cleaning as well. These glasses in the store would easily go for 15 to $25 a pair. I did not realize however, that the only use for the sunglasses would be up close gardening and such. Since they are not bifocal reading sunglasses, they can not be used for driving. All in all, well worth every penny and because they are more study, I haven't lost any in the last few months. Highly recommended in my book.

I have a pair of Oakley Fuel Cell sunglasses. I wanted something to keep them in that would protect them and this seemed like the best option for that since it's metal. This vault provides all the protection anyone could want but does have it's drawbacks. First off it's BIG. This makes it difficult to stash just anyplace in the car (fit's pretty good in a cup holder) and definately will not fit in your pocket. It is perfectly round and smooth which have two drawbacks; if your fingers are slick it can be hard to open the case as there are no tabs or indentations to get a hold of and if the surface you set it down on is not flat, it will take off on you. Not major problems given the amount of protection they give your glasses but it's all nice to know. I leave my Fuel Cells in the bag they came with and put them in the case. It takes some time but who wants to but another pair of expensive glasses if you can help it.

I found it cleans better than regular glass cleaner. Stand to the side at an angle and look at the glass you cleaned and you don't see the water spots. Overall it seems like a good cleaner.
SMELLS like solvent of some type, so it must clean differently than the ammonia products. But it cleans better than the windex.

I use Windex or other similar products to clean countertops and other surfaces,
but I use this product to clean glass.

Would recommend. I found mine at the auto supply (about the same price), but Amazon is great if you are busy and want it delivered. Use AMAZON PRIME for fast service.

MY TEST CLEANING WINDOWS:

STD WINDOW CLEANER: I cleaned my windows (3x) with full strength Windex and clean t-shirt(like) cloth and still had haze and some spots

INVISIBLE GLASS: Cleaned with this product and a clean t-shirt fabric -- it looked better --- much less spots and haze.

I'm on my second pair of ESS Flyby's now (my last set mysteriously disappeared after four years of loyal, eye protecting Army service). Not much to say - they're great sunglasses. I like the style; the matte finish is nicely tactical and the smoked lenses look pretty cool, and they do a good job keeping debris out of your eyes. I've been working around a belt sander, a table saw, and various other woodcutting tools recently, and these babies have kept me nice and ocular-ly safe. My last pair withstood a lot of abuse - getting dragged up into mountainous training areas, through extreme heat and cold, and general rough handling with nary a problem. If there's a negative, they do fog up if you're sweating and keep them pressed flush to your face. Moving them forward about half an inch solves that problem, though, and I'm not sure that I've had any sunglasses, ever, that didn't have the exact same issue.

If you're on the fence, get'em. They're worth it. As a nice little bonus, they come with a drawstring pouch/cleaning cloth and a semi-rigid zipper case for extra protection.

Global Vision Escort Over Prescription Eyewear

Okay..like the others I was cruising Amazon to buy the Prada glasses that 'inspired' these and which list at $300 (and can be found on eBay and elsewhere... for about $200,) and stumbled on these. Now, before someone rants about how bad and unsupportive it is to patronize knock-off artists: I will say that I DO buy the 'real deal' and DO drop some serious $$ on authentic designer glasses. Fair enough. I love sunglasses and have a nice little collection. These intrigued me but I was not convinced that I would want to invest. Buying this version let me: a) give my first pair to my beloved sister, and b) then get another pair so I can try them out for a test drive, so to speak to decide if I want the real deal for keeps at a higher price.

These are not quite as nice as the real ones (duh!) but they LOOK as good. The hinges seem predictably cheap; the frames seem lighter (I did try the 'real' ones on at Nordies) but allegedly made of the same 'acetate' as the Pradas. A main visual difference is there is no Prada logo on the sides.....

Designer Inspired Oversized Fashion Sunglasses

Okay..like the others I was cruising Amazon to buy the Prada glasses that 'inspired' these and which list at $300 (and can be found on eBay and elsewhere... for about $200,) and stumbled on these. Now, before someone rants about how bad and unsupportive it is to patronize knock-off artists: I will say that I DO buy the 'real deal' and DO drop some serious $$ on authentic designer glasses. Fair enough. I love sunglasses and have a nice little collection. These intrigued me but I was not convinced that I would want to invest. Buying this version let me: a) give my first pair to my beloved sister, and b) then get another pair so I can try them out for a test drive, so to speak to decide if I want the real deal for keeps at a higher price.

These are not quite as nice as the real ones (duh!) but they LOOK as good. The hinges seem predictably cheap; the frames seem lighter (I did try the 'real' ones on at Nordies) but allegedly made of the same 'acetate' as the Pradas. A main visual difference is there is no Prada logo on the sides.....

I had one of those cheapie sunglass clips that you push a button and the clip releases your sunglasses. Unfortunately, the button broke after about a year of use, which is probably better than I expected. However, it wasn't very friendly for one-handed use. As a wearer of prescription glasses and sunglasses, swapping one pair for another is most easily done if I can secure the other pair one-handed.

This product is perfect for this task. The glasses slide easily in and out of the Croakies clip and are held securely. Best of all, no moving parts or buttons to break. Dead simple construction tells me I'll have this product for a long time. Also, it comes with a clip that allows installation on the dash vents instead of the visor. I'm a tall guy and putting stuff on the visor is annoying for me. Also, the visor on my Jeep Grand Cherokee is too thick for the visor clip to work. Bravo Croakies on a well thought out product that is made in the USA. Thanks!
